Fire Risk Assessments for Premises
From 1st October 2006 The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the Responsible Person (RP) of any non domestic premises to carry out a fire risk assessment, including measures to reduce or eliminate the risk of fire, and identify persons at risk. Where there are 5 or more employees, a record must be kept of significant findings and a definition of a Responsible Person is contained in the above Order.
Face Fit Testing
Under the COSHH 2002 Regulations it is a requirement that all tight fitting face pieces should be face fit tested to ensure that the selected RPE has the potential to provide adequate protection for the individual wearers. At PB Training Services Ltd we follow the HSE282/28 'Fit testing of respiratory Protective Equipment face Pieces' guidance notes; there is detailed information about fit, testing methods, techniques and protocols, practical aspects, records and theory. By following this guidance employers will normally be seen as doing enough to comply with the law. We have a highly skilled team which will operate either on site for a large number of people, or even use our centre based in Brierley Hill.
Audiometry Testing
We have fully trained staff who will come onto your premises and run your hearing testing programme for you, ensuring that you meet your obligations with respect to the HSE Noise at Work Regulations. Screening programmes also reduce the risk of costly injury claims, many of which are settled by insurance companies due to the lack of evidence of hearing care in the workplace.
3M E-A-R FIT Validation
E-A-R fit is designed to help validate hearing protection and compliance with hearing protection fit testing. It delivers an objective, quantitative measurement of each employees protection, so you can better protect your workforce whilst helping employees understand the importance of a proper fit.
