SMSTS Course Information
The SMSTS Course can be held at our bespoke training centres or your premises.
Topics covered on SMSTS courses are varied. They include undertaking suitable risk assessments for construction sites, scaffolding, electricity, fire safety, confined spaces and much more. Making SMSTS training ideal for construction site managers, helping them to comply with legislation.
For Site Managers, the CITB SMSTS qualification, also known as the Site Safety Plus Scheme, is a recognised qualification outlined in the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 (CDM) (Demonstration of competence, Appendix 4).
During this course candidates will learn:
