The IPAF Training Course is designed to provide delegates with the essential knowledge and skills required for safe and efficient operation of MEWPs.
An engaging course that combines theory and practical training led by experienced instructors.
All successful delegates will receive a certificate and a PAL card (Powered Access Licence), accredited by IPAF valid for 5 years.

Important News Update From IPAF
IPAF have announced that physical certificates and cards are being phased out . . . IPAF are introducing the new ePAL app for both iOS and Android. Making it so much easier for delegates to access their ePAL record and certification!
Anyone who doesn't have access to a smartphone or email can still purchase the paper certificate and PAL card - the cost for this is just £40 +vat. You can request these on your booking form, or alternatively call the office on 0121 333 5436.
IPAF Training Course Information
Anyone who operates any type of Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP), such as scissor lifts, boom lifts and should take the IPAF Training Course to comply with the duties placed upon employers and employees by law. This course is approved by IPAF, who are the main international body governing access platform operations.
This course covers the most popular 3A & 3B categories, should you wish to book any other category then please call before booking this course.
- 3a – Self-propelled scissor lifts and vertical platforms (able to drive lowered or elevated for most applications)
- 3b – Self-propelled boom lifts (able to drive lowered or elevated for most applications)
