Important News Update From IPAF

IPAF have announced that physical certificates and cards are being phased out . . . IPAF are introducing the new ePAL app for both iOS and Android. Making it so much easier for delegates to access their ePAL record and certification!

Anyone who doesn't have access to a smartphone or email can still purchase the paper certificate and PAL card - the cost for this is just £40 +vat. You can request these on your booking form, or alternatively call the office on 0121 333 5436.

IPAF Training Course Information

The IPAF 1b Operator category covers the safe use of Static Booms which generally have outriggers. Static Boom is an overall category name which includes Spider booms on tracks or wheels, Van-mounted booms, Truck-mounted booms or Trailer-mounted booms. Once the delegate successfully completes an IPAF practical test on one of the above types of boom with outriggers, they are permitted to operate the other types of Static Booms under the 1b category, subject to receiving familiarisation on the 1b machine being used.
