INDUSTRIAL TELETRUK
Who Should attend: Candidates who are required to operate Industrial Telescopic Handlers during the normal course of their work.
Objectives: On completion of training, operators should have the ability to operate an Industrial Telescopic Handler safely and efficiently and in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
Course Durations:
1 DAY For the operator who has been previously trained and tested and requires reassessment and testing to prove continuing competence to operate, as recommended under the Approved Code of Practice (L117). Proof of previous certification is required from the candidate for attendance on this programme.
2 DAY For the operator who is usually self-taught and has more than 6 months continuous operating experience, but has slipped through the net and never had formal training. It bridges the gap between basic training and no training.
3 DAY For the operator who has less than 3 months operating experience. This BASIC OPERATOR’S COURSE is recognised as the standard length of programme to provide the operator with a good foundation in operating skills.
4 DAY Operators attending this course will be novices, either taken on a one to one or a two to one basis. These operators do not have the experience to fit into a 3 day programme.
5 DAY On a ratio of 3 novices to 1 instructor. This is an in depth course for the operator who is taking the first step on the ladder. It is geared to instilling a sense of safety and pride in the skill of operating a lift truck.
1,2 & 3 DAY
CONVERSIONS For the operator who has previously undergone formal training e.g. reach truck or counterbalance and who is now required to operate the industrial teletruk. The course demonstrates the different operating characteristics for the new type of machine.
