Safe load handling.
Slinging techniques.
Health & safety (safety signs and signals) regulations 1996.

1 DAY For the operator who has been previously trained and tested and requires reassessment and testing to prove continuing competence to operate. Proof of previous certification is required from the candidate for attendance on this programme.
2 DAY For the operator who has a good deal of experience usually self-taught but has slipped through the net and has never had formal training. It bridges the gap between basic training and no training.
3 DAY For operators who have very little experience. This BASIC OPERATOR'S COURSE is recognised as the standard length of programme to provide the operator with a good foundation in operating skills.
4 DAY Operators attending this course will be novices, either taken on a one to one or a two to one basis. These operators do not have the experience to fit into a 3 day course.
At the conclusion of the programme, all successful candidates will be issued with a training report, certificate of training and an identification card bearing their photograph and the categories of plant that they are qualified to operate. If this is through the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme we will submit the application on your behalf.
