HIGH PRESSURE WATER JETTING
Duration: Minimum 6 hours
For: Any person using high pressure water equipment
Objectives: To establish a standard, which will help prevent injuries by having an understanding of the regulations and safe methods of working with high pressure water jetting equipment
Course content:
1. General introduction, background range or
application of high-pressure water jetting.
2. Introduction to the code of practice for the use of
high-pressure water jetting.
3. Basic principles and features of jetting equipment
including: nozzles and jets, positive displacement
pumps and ancillaries, pressure controls, jetting hose
– lances – fittings.
5 Operational procedures including equipment care
inspection and testing site requirements and team
operation.
6. Practical explanation and experience of the use of the
equipment on site.
